I just learned they offer certifications too so I'm excited to dig into those!

I've used their topic research tool for clients and it has helped inform their entire content marketing strategy, from the calendar itself to the amount of paid/organic attention we give each piece of content. Their tool is always fast, loads quickly and is easy for novices to understand.

As a whole i think this is a great tool that all IM should have as it can really help you improve your site ranking and thus improve traffic and profits.
Cons: If you're looking for rank tracking then I'd suggest looking elsewhere, it's a little wonky and not as easy to use as other rank tracking solutions. However, if you don't want to buy multiple pieces of software then the rank tracker will get the job done. The software is kind of a 'jack of all trades, master of none'; so you'll be able to get by with just this as your main piece of software, but if you want something a little more specialized then you should probably look elsewhere. You might end up not using a lot of the tools because there is so much to explore, but most of the tools that are there are pretty valuable. Other than that, some of the reports need some extra interpretation if you are going to present them to a client which isn't optimal but is understandable.
Ahrefs is an all-inclusive software tool that includes the necessary features you need to rank above your competitors. Site auditing and SEO analysis are some of the notable features. I like how it analyzes my website pages and highlights what parts of a page require improvements to help achieve the best ranking. The only tool which hasn’t received much of an update is the SEO audit tool, but then again it wasn’t broken or lagging in the first place. So, despite it not receiving much love from the developers, it is still one of the best features. While other services' interfaces are clunky and hard to understand, SemRush lays everything out on their page in an easy-to-use format. The features are incredible, especially the Site Audit, which compares your keyword goals to the content that is already on your site and gives you tips on how you can rank higher for your chosen keywords. Even more incredibly, they provide "SEO templates" which makes content creation easy and friendly. It's nice to have such an easy platform for writing excellent-quality articles that converst. Cons: To an untrained eye, SEMrush can be a little overwhelming just because of the amount of data everywhere on the screen. It took me a whole week just to have some understanding of the program when I was first introduced to it. Even 2 years later..and I still find new things I didn't know before. So is it a con? Maybe not so much but to some it could be.
